The sweetest prayer!
The little light of my life Jake always makes my day, but yesterday was exceptional. We went on our daily outing, but decided to go to the chapel to pray. Well it started off with Frank playing the organ, which was entertaining to say the least. Then we all sat down and held hands to pray. It was me, Frank, Jake and Auntie Kristin. Frank asked Jake if he wanted to say the prayer and he said "Daddy you go first". So Frank prayed, and then I went, and then Jake went. He said "God, please bring my mommy home soon, and Brady too!" I thought this was the sweetest, and most sincere prayer for a 4 year old little boy. It melted my heart, of course, and brought me to tears. So today we once again went to the chapel and said our prayer, per Jake's request. I know everyone thinks their children are special, and they are, but to me he has been more than special. He is my strength in all that I do!

My sweet family!
Oh how I miss my family SO much! It seems funny to think the entire reason for being separated is to add to it. Frank and Jake mean everything to me, and I love them both so much. This is a picture of us on our big outing out to the fountain. Jakey looks like my little puppet! He is always the sweetest and told me today how I was still his girlfriend, I love it! I am starting to get excited about the arrival of Brady. At almost 30 weeks I feel so much more excited about his arrival, than I am worried.
Things I am looking forward to: Of course being home with my family and playing with Jake, taking a bath, getting my hair done, facial, toes, nails, cooking dinner, cleaning the house (crazy huh), rocking my new baby, going to Target :)
Okay maybe a few of my things are a bit shallow, but it has been a month :)

Missing my Jakey!
As I wait for my little Brady (1 month now in the hospital), I am really missing my sweet Jakey. He is doing so great and is having a blast with his Nana and Grandpa Layton. I haven't seen him since Friday, and it feels like something is missing. They left on Sunday to go to his cousins B-day party, and then to the beach. He has been having a great time, and is getting lots of love and attention. As I lay here I know Brady is doing wonderfully, that little heartbeat in the background is my reminder. I also know Jake is doing great, but I can't help but think of him constantly. I can't believe I will have another little boy to love as much as I do Jake. He is the love of my life, any mother can relate.
The other love of my life Frank has really amazed me too. I have had a honey do list for him for about a year now. It took me lying up in a hospital bed to actually get him working. He said he is bored without Jake and I, so thought he would get to it. Too funny!
So in any situation their are always silver linings if you just look for them!

Waiting for Brady!
Well I have been in the hospital for almost 3 1/2 weeks now waiting for our little Brady's arrival. The longer I can lay here the better, but I am so anxious to meet this amazing little boy. Another amazing little boy is my sweet precious Jake, wow what a blessing. He never ceases to amaze me, and has also been so strong through all this. Always happy and going with the flow. I hope Brady is just like him! Lastly is my dear sweet husband, who has really stepped up to the plate, and been thrown into a roll he has never known "Mr Mom" He is doing such a great job with Jake, and I miss them both dearly. I long for the day to be home with my 3 wonderful boys and be back to my roll as Mommy/Wife. Nothing like laying up in a hospital bed to make you appreciate the little things in life. It may sound good, but believe me it isn't all it cracked up to be :) We are a very lucky family to have such a caring circle of support. Each day I lay here is a blesssing!
